The purpose of this fact sheet is to present information that can be used by water managers, parish residents, and others for management of this vital resource. Information on the availability, past and current use, use trends, and water quality from groundwater and surface-water sources in the parish is presented. Previously published reports and data stored in the U.S. Geological Survey\u2019s National Water Information System (http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis) are the primary sources of the information presented here.",
