She returned to graduate school at Texas Tech University in 2019 to focus on environmental soil chemistry. While a student, Amanda Jo began her new career at the U.S. Geological Survey in 2022 as student trainee of physical science in the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center, in Lubbock, TX. Upon graduation, Amanda Jo began working at a hydrologic technician focusing on surface water streamflow data.",
