"abstract": "I am interested in wildlife ecology, especially as it relates to climate change and other anthropogenic factors. Living in Southern California, I see first-hand the effects of human changes on the landscape, and how those landscape changes are affecting threatened and endangered wildlife species in our area, both short-term and long-term. The projects that I am working on are focused on habitat alteration (both destruction and restoration), and how bird species respond to this alteration.
