"abstract": "I have been a hydrologic technician in the Ithaca, NY office since 2006. Prior to that, I worked for the USGS and the Bureau of Reclamation in Yuma, AZ, from 2004 - 2006. In 2002, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary, from the University at Buffalo, NY. As a hydrologic technician, I routinely collect, process, and analyze hydrologic data. I currently run a field trip in New York's lovely southern tier. The trip consists of full-time discharge stations, stage-only sites, crest-stage gages, groundwater wells, and rain gages. I also run an index-velocity and continuous water quality site in Rochester. Locally, I collect suspended sediment samples at two sites for the City of Ithaca. I use GCLAS for computing annual sediment loads. In the past I have been involved with water quality sampling and processing as well. I am a DECODES person."
