       "abstract": "I started with Oregon Water Science Center in January 2017 as a field assistant. I was totally \"green\" to USGS and with a lot of patience from my peers was trained up as a hydrologic technician. For several years I operated 11 stream flow and water quality gages around Springfield, Oregon. I also maintained water quality gages in the Santiam basin.Since 2022 I have been combining my passion for words and writing with science communication. I really enjoyed working with regional leadership developing content for the Northwest/Pacific Island Region's Science and Products Mapper. I look forward to continuing to help the region and Oregon Water Science Center with website content creation and outreach needs."
