"abstract": "Kelly Bruno supports a wide range of domestic and international collaborations to enhance the use and accessibility of National Land Imaging products and scientific applications for civil agency and societal benefit. She serves as a primary point of contact for multilateral and bilateral coordination within the NLI Program and participates in collaborative working groups focused on Earth observation applications for climate, biodiversity, and the Pacific regions.Kelly started working for the USGS in 2023 as a Presidential Management Fellow. She holds a Master of Environmental Management degree with a concentration in Ecosystem Science and Conservation from Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment. During her graduate studies, she focused on data analysis and modeling, wildlife conservation, and ecosystem services. Kelly conducted research on wildlife occupancy and field methods at the Duke Forest. Prior to and during her master's program, she gained experience working with the North Carolina Zoo and the Duke Lemur Center, focusing on animal behavior and welfare."
