Most headwater streams of the Fox River are predominantly agricultural in land use, interspersed with rural communities and the industrialized Fox River Valley corridor. Implementation of best management practices on agricultural operations has worked to limit the amount of material that is carried to the stream from cropland. However, several studies have shown streambank erosion to be another source of suspended sediment in these streams. These files contain the descriptions of 30 rapid geomorphic assessments conducted during the summer of 2018 as part of the Apple Creek sediment-source study.
