The VIIRS sensor is currently flying on the Suomi NPP satellite mission. The NOAA-20 satellite is a planned sensor on follow-on. The eVIIRS collection was developed as a follow-on mission to replace the eMODIS collection when the MODIS mission ends. The eVIIRS Global NDVI are 10-day composited data sets using the VIIRS sensor. Expedited (near real-time) production runs every ten days for these 10-day products. Because each of the composites are created from a varying number of images, these eVIIRS composites include acquisition files to identify which of the possible inputs were used to populate the final composite. The metadata accompanying the data files summarize geographic bounds, projection parameters and product contact information. The data has Global coverage and is available in GeoTIFF format, Geographic projection, and 1-kilometer resolution.", "descriptionType": "Abstract" } ], "geoLocations": [], "fundingReferences": [], "url": "https://www.usgs.gov/centers/eros/science/usgs-eros-archive-vegetation-monitoring-eviirs-global-ndvi", "contentUrl": null, "metadataVersion": 0, "schemaVersion": "http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4", "source": "mds", "isActive": true, "state": "findable", "reason": null, "viewCount": 0, "downloadCount": 0, "referenceCount": 0, "citationCount": 0, "partCount": 0, "partOfCount": 0, "versionCount": 0, "versionOfCount": 0, "created": "2023-06-22T11:19:23Z", "registered": "2023-06-22T11:19:24Z", "published": null, "updated": "2023-06-22T11:19:24Z" }
