These samples were measured using a pXRF as part of a regional-scale investigation of naturally-occurring trace elements (including arsenic, chromium, and uranium) dissolved in groundwater (Groover and Izbicki, 2018), and a local-scale investigation of naturally-occurring and anthropogenic chromium dissolved in groundwater (Izbicki and Groover, 2016; Izbicki and Groover, 2018). These data also include pXRF quality assurance measurements done on three standard reference materials and a silicon dioxide blank. \r\n\r\nThese data contain more than 3,200 pXRF measurements and associated descriptive information on 335 samples of alluvium, rock, and archived core material and drill cuttings from 93 monitoring wells. An additional 564 pXRF measurements are on the three standard reference materials and silicon dioxide blank. Measurements were done between March 2015 and May 2018.
