PFOA and PFOS are often associated with other poly- and perfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS). There has been increasing concern for groundwater quality owing to PFAS contamination from multiple sources, as groundwater is a major source of drinking water. An investigation of the geochemical and hydrological processes governing the subsurface transport of PFAS at a site on Cape Cod, Massachusetts was conducted in 2014 and 2015, when 149 groundwater samples and 4 sediment cores were collected and analyzed for PFAS content using liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry.", "descriptionType": "Abstract" } ], "geoLocations": [], "fundingReferences": [], "url": "https://www.sciencebase.gov/catalog/item/580e746be4b0f497e794b882", "contentUrl": null, "metadataVersion": 4, "schemaVersion": "http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4", "source": "mds", "isActive": true, "state": "findable", "reason": null, "viewCount": 0, "downloadCount": 0, "referenceCount": 0, "citationCount": 3, "partCount": 0, "partOfCount": 0, "versionCount": 0, "versionOfCount": 0, "created": "2017-03-15T16:02:56Z", "registered": "2017-03-15T16:02:57Z", "published": null, "updated": "2023-04-28T08:55:09Z" }
