     "text": "The USGS repackages information from three source Reanalysis product files into a daily HDF file that contains Scientific Data Sets  (SDSs) for surface pressure (\u201cslp\u201d), precipitable water (\u201cpr_wtr\u201d), and air temperature (\u201cair\u201d), stored as floating-point values. These global products are 2.5\u00b0 x 2.5\u00b0 lat/long grids from 90\u00b0 N to 90\u00b0 S, and 0\u00b0 E to 357.5\u00b0 E. Each grid position contains four daily values from 0Z, 6Z, 12Z, and 18Z. The repackaged file also contains \u201clat\u201d and \u201clon\u201d SDSs that contain the latitude and longitude value along each grid axis."

     "text": "The National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP)/National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)  Reanalysis 1 products are annual Network Common Data Form (netCDF) files, which contain the daily values for each surface pressure, precipitable water, and air temperature. NCEP data are used in the surface reflectance algorithm for Landsat 4-7 data."
