I've struggled a bit with this concept as higher-level classification in the ontology. I've diverged from the CCO in specifying that an information bearing artifact can be both a material and immaterial entity. Digital forms of information bearing artifacts may be conveyed via material entity but generally exist in their essence as essentially immaterial. --Sky (talk) 15:45, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
