       "description": "Cisco (Coregonus artedi) have been extirpated from Lake Erie since the 1960s, but they once supported one of the largest Laurentian Great Lakes fisheries. Reintroduction may be beneficial to the Lake Erie fishery, but impediments for re-establishment are not fully understood. This data set aimed to use acoustic telemetry to investigate the thermal habitat use and survival of hatchery-reared adult Cisco in Lake Erie. Fish were experimentally released (n=50 per site) at two locations: near Dunkirk, New York, and Huron, Ohio. Fish were tracked using the Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observation System (GLATOS).",
