He is also one of the USGS representatives to the Science Subgroup\ \ of the Interagency Flood Resilience Working Group and co-coordinates the Hydrologic\ \ Extremes Working Group (HEWG) of the USGS Water Resource Mission Area\u2019\ s Modeling Community of Practice.Prior to coming to the U.S. Geological Survey,\ \ Jory worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Vermont,\ \ where he simulated the effects of climate change on cyanobacteria blooms in\ \ Lake Champlain.
