abstract: I began working with USGS as a contractor on the GLRI funded CSMI efforts
on Lake Huron in 2012. This project involved researching foodweb energy transfer
from nearshore to offshore waters. I continued this research on Lakes Erie and
Michigan during their intensive field years in the CSMI cycle. I am now a Biological
Science Technician maintaining involvement in CSMI as well as other projects
     at USGS.
