   abstract: W. Barclay Shoemaker is a research hydrologist for the U.S. Geological
     Survey in Davie, Florida. His interests include numerical modeling, micrometeorology,
     and hydrologic characterization for conflicts over water. Barclay was invited
     to appear on a National Public Radio (NPR) show titled "Florida Aquifer and
     Saltwater". He has authored numerous USGS technical reports and journal articles;
     and has served as peer-reviewer for scientific journals including Ground Water
     and Water Resources Research.
