   personal_statement: Candice Tuck has been a Mineral Commodity Specialist with
     the National Minerals Information Center since 2012, where she began as the
     Iron Ore Specialist. Since then, she has also become the specialist for the
     critical minerals cesium and rubidium and ferrous industry products, covering
     iron and steel and iron and steel scrap. She has also previously served as the
     specialist for ferroalloys, iron and steel slag, and silicon and peer reviewing
     publications on bromine, cobalt, platinum-group metals, metals recycling, and
     others. In addition to her primary duties, Candice acts as a technical liaison
     for multiple internal programs she developed that focus on global minerals production
     and workplace document routing. She was the lead author on a publication clarifying
     the reporting of iron ore in China, has presented on the iron and steel industry
     at multiple conferences, and has worked on STEM outreach initiatives.
