My career started with the Department of Interior (DOI) in 2019, as an Assessment Inventory and Monitoring (AIM) seasonal crew member. Once the season finished I and generated GIS/Esri maps for fire monitoring. I worked out of the BLM Gunnison field office. I was promoted to an AIM crew lead out of the San Lewis Valley BLM office in 2020. These skills lead me to Conservation Legacy out of Durango, CO where I became a Watershed Monitoring lead. I worked on the Verde River, AZ; Escalante River, UT; Dolores River, CO; and the Gila River, AZ evaluating and monitoring river health. Before Colorado, I worked a handful of environmental related positions studying; forest tree health, permaculture farm in Nicaragua, fishery habitat restoration, and educating the public as a forest service ranger. I have always been fascinated with science and data so working with USGS is a triumph. professional_experience: [] title: Hydrologic Technician
