   personal_statement: Erin has a background in paleoclimate reconstruction and wetland
     restoration from her undergraduate and post-graduation research at Franklin
     & Marshall College working on projects to reconstruct pre-colonization conditions
     in valley bottoms in the mid-Atlantic region. She has worked for the NPS, BLM
     and USFS as a seasonal employee on projects focused on ecological restoration,
     hydrologic mapping and water quality, and wildlife and botanical surveys. She
     started working for the USGS as a hydrologic technician in the Spring of 2022
     monitoring hydrologic conditions for the Upper Colorado River basin.
