"abstract": "History & HighlightsTracy manages the USGS Alaska Mapping Initiative and serves as the United States National Contact Point for the Arctic SDI. He also supports improving data acquisition processes and clarifying roles related to data acquisition within the User Engagement Office in the National Geospatial Program. His early USGS career was spent at the USGS Mapping Center in Rolla, Missouri where he served in the GIS Research and Applications Branch, as a Supervisor in Digital Map Production, and as a Section Chief in GIS Data Integration. Mid-career Tracy served as a National Map Liaison to Idaho, followed by several years of service as a supervisor to various National Map Liaison groups across the United States."
