"abstract": "The addition of uranium to the 1979 WATEQ2 chemical model has resulted in a larger version known as WATEQ3. This larger version of the model was tested against a second model and the computer codes were corrected until each model performed the calculations accurately and produced virtually identical results. Thermodynamic data from the 1978 compilation of Donald Langmuir were used in the input data base. This report makes available the computer code and the data base used, together with a description of the changes made."
