   personal_statement: Scott Wallace is a hydrologic technician who has collected
     and analyzed water resource data for the United States Geological Survey since
     1997. He earned a bachelor's degree in geology from Arkansas Tech University
     in 1995, and studied calculus as a post-graduate at the University of Arkansas
     in 2001-2002. Scott has been published in People Land and Water, and his professional
     abstracts are archived at Mississippi State University. He lives in Tallassee,
     Alabama with his wife of twenty-four years, Shelia, and his children, Jordan
     and Rachel.
