     \ and provide land change science data to support our understanding of the changing\
     \ Earth. TheSustainable Land Imagingcollaboration between NASA and the Dept.\
     \ of the Interior/USGS enables the long-term planning and development of a multi-decade\
     \ spaceborne system that will provide users worldwide with high-quality, global,\
     \ land-imaging measurements compatible with the existing record dating back\
     \ to 1972.Pete began his career in geospatial data science in 1990, which has\
     \ included positions with the federal government, a national lab, and the private\
     \ sector. Pete\u2019s vision is to advance the use ofspatial data scienceto\
