In Alaska, digital elevation models based on light detection and ranging and interferometric synthetic aperture radar data enabled our fault mapping at scales of 1:2,000 and 1:10,000, respectively. Lacking such resources in Yukon, we developed new structure-from-motion digital photogrammetry products from legacy aerial photos to map the fault surface trace at a scale of 1:10,000 east of the international border. The section of the fault that we map, referred to as the Eastern Denali Fault, did not rupture during the 2002 Denali Fault earthquake (moment magnitude 7.9). Seismologic, geodetic, and geomorphic evidence, along with a paleoseismic record of past ground-rupturing earthquakes, demonstrate Holocene and contemporary activity on the fault, however. This map of the Eastern Denali Fault surface trace complements other data sets by providing an openly accessible digital interpretation of the location, length, and continuity of the fault\u2019s surface trace based on the accompanying digital topography dataset. Additionally, the digitized fault trace may provide geometric constraints useful for modeling earthquake scenarios and related seismic hazard.", "description": "iii, 10 p.", "publisher": {"@type": "Organization", "name": "U.S. Geological Survey"}, "author": [{"@type": "Person", "name": "Bender, Adrian M. abender@usgs.gov", "givenName": "Adrian M.", "familyName": "Bender", "email": "abender@usgs.gov", "identifier": {"@type": "PropertyValue", "propertyID": "ORCID", "value": "0000-0001-7469-1957", "url": "https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7469-1957"}, "affiliation": [{"@type": "Organization", "name": "Alaska Science Center", "url": "https://www.usgs.gov/centers/alaska-science-center"}, {"@type": "Organization", "name": "Alaska Science Center Geology Minerals", "url": "https://www.usgs.gov/centers/alaska-science-center"}]}, {"@type": "Person", "name": "Haeussler, Peter J. pheuslr@usgs.gov", "givenName": "Peter J.", "familyName": "Haeussler", "email": "pheuslr@usgs.gov", "identifier": {"@type": "PropertyValue", "propertyID": "ORCID", "value": "0000-0002-1503-6247", "url": "https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1503-6247"}, "affiliation": [{"@type": "Organization", "name": "Alaska Science Center", "url": "https://www.usgs.gov/centers/alaska-science-center"}, {"@type": "Organization", "name": "Alaska Science Center Geology Minerals", "url": "https://www.usgs.gov/centers/alaska-science-center"}]}], "funder": [{"@type": "Organization", "name": "Alaska Science Center Geology Minerals", "url": "https://www.usgs.gov/centers/alaska-science-center"}], "spatialCoverage": [{"@type": "Place", "additionalType": "country", "name": "Canada", "url": "https://geonames.org/4286733"}, {"@type": "Place", "additionalType": "country", "name": "United States", "url": "https://geonames.org/6252001"}, {"@type": "Place", "additionalType": "state", "name": "Alaska", "url": "https://geonames.org/5879092"}, {"@type": "Place", "additionalType": "state", "name": "Yukon", "url": "https://geonames.org/6185811"}, {"@type": "Place", "additionalType": "unknown", "name": "Denali Fault"}, {"@type": "Place", "geo": [{"@type": "GeoShape", "additionalProperty": {"@type": "PropertyValue", "name": "GeoJSON", "value": {"type": "FeatureCollection", "features": [{"type": "Feature", "properties": {}, "geometry": {"type": "Polygon", "coordinates": [[[-147, 60], [-135, 60], [-135, 64], [-147, 64], [-147, 60]]]}}]}}}, {"@type": "GeoCoordinates", "latitude": 62.0, "longitude": -141.0}]}]}
