Upon graduation, she served as a hydrologist and supervisory hydrologist with the Kansas Water Science Center until 2018. From 2018-2024, she was a supervisory hydrologist in the Pacific Islands Water Science Center where she oversaw a network of over 100 real-time streamflow, precipitation, and groundwater monitoring sites across the Hawaiian Islands and Guam.
