Much of this international\ \ work focused on activities in West Africa, Latin America, and Afghanistan.\ \ In West Africa, he supports the development of land cover trends, analyzing\ \ data from 1975 to the present. In Latin America, Matt collaborated with the\ \ Pan-American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH), CAF \u2013 Development\ \ Bank of Latin America, and Latin American countries to support their efforts\ \ in spatial data infrastructure (SDI) development.
