 abstract: Prior to working for USGS, Emily was a postdoctoral associate at the Cary
   Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Millbrook, NY, and a Visiting Assistant Professor
   of Environmental Science at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.  Emily holds
   a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona, a M.S. in Environmental
   Science from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from
   the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Emily is based in Madison, Wisconsin.
