     USGS California Water Science Center (CAWSC) since 2019. As a hydrologic technician
     at the USGS Matthew collects and processes samples of various matrices for analyses
     at the USGS Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory in Sacramento, California.
     Matthew leads field outings in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to collect surface
     water samples. Most of his work focuses on the presence of current-use pesticides
     in surface waters.
