He joined the USGS in the Tulsa field office in 2019 where his work mostly focused on water quality. He joined the Oklahoma City Hydrologic Studies section in 2021 as a Hydrologist. His research interests include groundwater availability, developing hydrogeologic frameworks and conceptual flow models, water quality, and he is beginning work on projects involving groundwater modeling using MODFLOW. Evin is also a member of the USGS Early Career Scientists Network Employee Resource Group leadership team.
