     biography:
content: My current research has been focused on developing river flow and
temperature models. Currently they are specific to the Delaware River, but
have adaptation potential to many other systems. The temperature models
are statistical based models that help managers evaluate the impact of different
management schemes on the river system. The flow models are 2-D hydrodynamic
models that enable managers to evaluate how different management scheme
options would impact the rivers physical characteristics (i.e. depth, velocity,
shear stress, rate of dewatering..). If a system has specific target species
of concern, these two types of models together allow managers to better
understand how different management schemes will impact the habitat of those
         biota.
