     \ nutrient, and trace-metal biogeochemistry. Her approaches span landscape-to-molecular\
     \ scales as necessary to understand how alterations of wetland structure influences\
     \ wetland function. Lisa\u2019s research sites represent a wide range of salinity\
     \ and management conditions, from rice agriculture to coastal and restored wetlands.\
     \ Since 2000, she has authored or coauthored over 100 peer reviewed papers on\
     \ wetland biogeochemistry, and co-produced functional maps of wetland elevation\
     \ and soil characteristics. From local to national to global assessments, Lisa\
     \ represents USGS capabilities and interests across the aquatic continuum to\
