The \ncameras offered the advantages of low cost, low power, flexibility in deployment, and high spatial and temporal resolution. Images obtained from the cameras provided important \ninsights into several aspects of dome extrusion, including \nrockfalls, lava extrusion rates, and explosive activity. Images \nfrom the remote, telemetered digital cameras were assembled \ninto time-lapse animations of dome extrusion that supported \nmonitoring, research, and outreach efforts.
